Sales Manager, B2B Media Services Digital and Print

Direct responsibility for managing a team of 7-10 salespersons selling print and digital display advertising for industry leading business publications and websites.

Responsibilities includes:

Hiring and training new sales team members as required.

Implementing quarterly reviews with sales team members and providing written reports.

Mentoring, supervising and shadowing each new sales team member to assess performance.

Designing and implementing effective sales incentives.

Establishing sales territories, sales goals and related budgets.

Providing leadership and team member support.

Ensuring a high standard of business ethics and customer service.

Achieving personal sales, management and career goals.

Assist Salespersons in qualifying opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience: Sales, Service and Customer Relationship Management:

Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in sales management and customer relationship management.

Proven track record of succeeding in a goal-driven environment.

Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Excellent academic qualifications, writing and communications capabilities

Track record of success in B2B media and advertising sales, and sales management.

Knowledge of CRM Dynamics and other CRM providers.


Total Compensation Target of about 80K in year 1, comprised of base salary of 65K + commission and bonus (stretch performance in all 4 quarters).
