Salary: C$100,000 to $120,000
Location: Toronto, ON.

• * Lead a team of current Editors/Facilitators (EF) by daily example.
• * Participate as an EF, while fulfilling this project management role.
• * Ensure EFs high quality work performance whether they are working remotely, hybrid, or in-office.
• * Understand the role of and regularly communicate with the EF team.
• * Understand the project, the project scope, timelines and the required level of detail of the program.
• * Train and mentor EFs with interview techniques, content development and relationship management skills, to efficiently collect program content from industry subject matter experts (SMEs) and other content sources.
• * Provide direction on visuals to support the text and creative ways that the online learning module slides will be seen by the user.
• * Set and communicate performance and timing objectives to the team, monitor and deliver written reports.
• * Liaise closely with key stakeholders to ensure that projects are proceeding as scheduled.
• * Provide ongoing oversight and personally participate in reviewing content prior to its release to production and before it is released to the industry.
• * Break down and sequence work, accurately estimate effort.
• * Receive and evaluate change requests to determine their impact on the project constraints.
• * Proactively manage projects and act as a central point of contact for developers and production team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• * Manage development activities in accordance with identified parameters (timelines, costs, quality tolerance, etc.).
• * Ensure that all required resources are planned in advance and that the project plan is kept up to date.
• * Manage the resources assigned to the project.
• * Plan and facilitate weekly team meetings.
• * Provide regular status reports to senior management.

• * 3-5 years of project management experience successfully delivering medium-large scale online learning and/or digital media projects (eLearning, certificate or designation program, interactive websites geared towards eLearning).
• * Proven track record of project management within the eLearning industry or equivalent.
• * Experience working with third party vendors and suppliers including but not limited to development teams, learning management system teams and technical partners.
• * Familiar with emergent online learning trends and learning management system platforms.
• * Able to quickly adapt to, and consistently adhere to project management processes and routines.
• * Experience with the development of mid and large-scale projects.
• * Previously has management-level responsibility in a product development/digital production environment within the online or eLearning sector.

• * Familiarity with waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
• * Excellent verbal communication and professional writing skills, competent in writing standard PMI deliverables including but not limited to project proposals / SOWs, business cases, scope documents, project charters and project schedules / plans.
• * Knowledge of web technologies including HTML / HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript Frameworks.
• * A thorough understanding of Storyline Articulate.
• * Knowledge of responsive and adaptive online learning content development and design processes and systems.
