Digital Production Assistant - Electronic and Print Directory Publishing
Our Client is a producer of leading trade and industry magazines, directories, websites, conferences and tradeshows throughout North America.
An immediate opportunity exists for a Directory Assistant in their Toronto Office (North York). This role has exposure to all aspects of the growth and development of Print/Online Directories.

The highly efficient candidate must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, as well as the ability to quickly absorb new technical information, and manage data and content.
The function of this role is to assist a Directory Manager in content management and managing relationships with clients, provide administrative support in all aspects of department operations; as well as to aid in the development, rollout and maintenance of new online advertising products.
Successful Candidate will have:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- 2-3 years of related work experience preferably in a publishing or advertising environment
- Desire to serve and assist a fast-paced and demanding department under the pressure of constant deadlines
- Ability to self-direct, organize and take initiative
- Work quickly and accurately with large volume of data
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Expert level ability in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Professional and friendly customer etiquette, both phone and email
- Eager and able to quickly learn new tools and applications as needs require
Additional Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience with WordPress or other similar applications
- Experience with Graphic Design Programs
