🎯 Geescore — suitability scoring before you apply

How suitability scoring creates better outcomes for jobseekers and hiring professionals

Before a jobseeker writes a cover letter, before they tailor their résumé, before they click submit — there is one question that almost no job posting answers honestly: is this job actually right for you?

Not whether you are qualified on paper. Not whether you can fake your way through an interview. Whether you — as a person with your specific skills, experience, work style, career goals, and life circumstances — are genuinely a good fit for this specific role at this specific company. That question matters because the cost of being wrong is different for a jobseeker than it is for a hiring company. A hiring company that makes a bad hire loses money and time. A jobseeker who takes the wrong job loses months of their life, their confidence, and the energy to keep searching.

Geescore exists to answer that one question before any of that damage happens. It is a suitability scoring system that lets a jobseeker know which job is right for them before they apply. The technology uses both derived parameters from job postings and résumés, as well as advanced AI techniques, to determine suitability in an age where traditional hiring signals have broken down.

Visual, open, and honest — the score changes behavior

Green folder ≥ 70 Suitable — This job is for you. Proceed with confidence. You can download a free Proof of Awesomeness PDF with your score for that job, and ready to share with employers.

Yellow folder 50–69  Borderline — Proceed with caution. You may have some transferable skills, but the fit is not strong. Save your energy for green-folder roles.

Brown folder below 50 Not a fit — This role will likely lead to frustration or early exit. Move on kindly. Your right job is elsewhere.

Proof of Awesomeness PDF — Free, Instant, Downloadable, and Shareable, and yours to keep. Bring it to interviews, or attach it to the applications.

A jobseeker who knows they have a green folder score is empowered to devote real time to that opportunity: research the company, network with current employees, craft a thoughtful application. They cannot do any of that if they are applying to 500 jobs while sleeping. The green folder gives them permission to slow down and focus.

For hiring professionals — honesty without suspicion

When a jobseeker applies through a system powered by Geescore, you receive not just a résumé but a suitability score, a fraud detection flag, and answers to custom screening questions — all delivered at the moment of application. In the age of AI, the fraud detection feature is essential. Geescore calculates the likelihood that a résumé has been hyper‑optimized for a specific job posting: 0 = natural/unmodified, -7 = high likelihood of manipulation. That flag does not change the suitability score (a 76 remains a 76), but it quietly tells you to take a closer look.

Custom knockout questions are generated by AI based on your job posting and industry. For a retail role: Can you stand on your feet for a full shift? Can you handle a point-of-sale system? Are you consistently on time? For a warehouse: Do you have safety certification? Can you lift 50 lbs? These questions are asked at the moment of scoring — red flags appear before a phone screen is ever scheduled.

More than scoring — tools for government and workforce development

For government career departments and workforce boards, Geescore offers a Chrome browser extension that scores any job posting anywhere on the web — LinkedIn, Indeed, company career pages, even PDFs. Career counselors can install it and coach jobseekers in real time. API access is also available to embed suitability scoring directly into existing government job boards or case management systems, with anonymized local intelligence on skill gaps and employment trends.

What’s coming: Queenie hivemind AI and talent flow analytics

Soon, Geescore will launch automated reference interviews — a structured telephone conversation with a candidate’s former manager, powered by multiple AI models plus our own proprietary model. Reference interviews are the highest‑value piece of data in hiring, yet they are routinely skipped. Automating them with ethical consent protocols will give hiring professionals reliable data without administrative burden. Additionally, macro talent flow analytics will help companies reduce waste, protect their brand, and help jobseekers spend their time where it matters most.

🔍 One simple question, one honest score
The current system is broken. Geescore breaks the cycle at the only point where it can be broken: before the application is submitted. A red folder means do not apply. A green folder means apply with confidence — and employers know you saw that green light.
